Abacus production plant is well equipped with state of the art manufacturing equipment suited for manufacturing mass products as well as customized solutions. We are engaged in manufacturing prototypes through a dedicated NPI process thereafter being handed over to the mass production teams. We service our customers’ high mix / low volume requirements as well as medium to high volume production batches.
Our highly flexible set up; dedicated work force and customer focused manufacturing teams make us a preferred solutions partner. Customers are most comfortable placing their manufacturing requirements with us since we work as their extended production facility with transparent systems workflow via an organized and technically sound SAP ERP system.
Quality Systems

We hold regular discussions involving all departments, focusing on quality parameters, supplier and customer issues, and quality KPIs. Our use of Statistical Process Control (SPC) methodology drives our growth, performance, and customer satisfaction.
Our process control engineers strictly follow IPC and UL standards. Continuous training at our in-house center equips our workforce with essential skills like ESD controls, HSD handling, 5S, productivity enhancement, and waste reduction techniques.
Our engineering teams collect customer data, analyze product-specific requirements, and craft a unique Manufacturing Process Control Plan (MPCP) for each product. Customer drawings and files guide us through assembly, inspection, process control, and packaging, enabling us to provide 100% quality assurance with full confidence.
Testing, Programming And Special Processes
At Abacus, we carry out complete product testing as per customer defined procedures and do functional tests, vibration tests, burn-in tests and any other specialized testing necessary for production functionality and quality. We have a dedicated team of personnel for testing and troubleshooting engineers who carry out the testing as per customer requirements with jigs and fixtures built in house or customer supplied. This includes IC programming, SPD writing as well as firmware updations that may be required either off-line through our universal/gang programmers or In System programming as part of the complete test procedure.

Quality Systems
At Abacus, quality is our top priority and each member of our team is trained to ensure that this ethos is well executed. Right from the contract review stage to ensuring the material reaches the client safe and sound we apply rigorous quality control measures. On a regular basis, every individual member of the management, quality assurance department, engineering and production personnel discuss all quality related parameters specific to the product, supplier quality issues, in-process quality concerns, customer quality incidents, 8D reports and managements set quality KPI’s. Application of the SPC methodology and data collection, forms the basis of the quality control discussions that enhances our growth, performance and overall customer satisfaction.
Our process control engineers are trained and certified specialists and we follow IPC and UL standards in our manufacturing processes. The workforce is constantly trained with upgradations at our in-house training centre on generic parameters such as ESD controls, HSD handling, 5S, productivity enhancement and waste reduction techniques as well as specific customer requirements
